This stunning deck was built in Kanata, Ontario.

The deck is built on floating deck blocks and unattached to the house. Timbertech “silver maple” composite materials was used for decking and fascia.

The white railing is “century” aluminum baluster railing product that is extremely resilient to weather conditions and  gives a nice detailed finish. The privacy wall is 6’ tall and build from cedar. The stair risers were finished in cedar for stair tread to riser contrast and tie in with the privacy wall. A screened structure was to be added to the deck surface for shade and to keep the bugs out. 

This style of deck has become extremely popular in subdivisions as it offers the outdoor experience yet provides privacy from your neighbors.
