This beautiful new deck was completed in Stittsville Ontario.
As with all things in life aging is a process. Decks get old and tattered over the years and landscaping is either nonexistent or overgrown. The good news is that the new products available on the market today will far outlast the produxcts that were used 10 or 15 years ago.
For this customer in Stittsville, they wanted a complete new outlook on life when they strolled out their back door. They wanted a private oasis for their family and friend to enjoy.
With this said, the original deck and landscape were removed and replaced with a new deck by In-Dex Construction and landscape by “Yards Unlimited”.
The deck is fully constructed in brown pressure treated lumber. New benches were constructed to look like the old benches but with a new look and feel, plus a new support system was installed.
A privacy screen with adjustable louvers offers privacy with the option of allowing a breeze through if desired.
The “Invisirail” railing gives the deck a modern look and allows a beautiful and uninterrupted view of the creek at the back of the yard.
The larger deck surface, over the main level reaching from door to door allows for more usable space with multiple lounging areas.
